Tattoos used be something that was primarily a man thing but more and more these days women are getting body art. Feminine tattoos make up half the tattoo designs that are done each year. Sure you have the typical heart, butterfly, angel, rose and flower tattoo designs but there are way more feminine tattoos to be had and actually allow us girls to be more original than just the standard old band of roses around the ankle or heart on our chest. With the creative mindset of many women they are becoming more and more prevalent as artist. As we see more and more women getting into the art form I believe we will see not only more designs geared towards women but more and more women getting body art.
There is a huge difference between the typical male design and many of the body art designs that women are choosing.
